I am Maged Abdallah, an Egyptian native who has devoted his life to enhancing education quality for students of all ages. With over two decades of teaching experience, I am currently serving as the Deputy Principal and MYP coordinator, as well as fulfilling several roles as an IB educator, including workshop leader, BQC reviewer, and MYP L&L and personal project examiner.
My passion for research, classification, and critical thinking has paved the way for my professional growth and shaped my educational philosophy. As a result, I have conducted numerous training workshops across the Middle East, including Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, and Oman.
To me, teaching is the backbone of the learning and development process within the school community. Thus, my teaching philosophy is grounded on three pillars: research, innovation, and inclusion.
Research, where the learning process is student-centered, with the teacher guiding students to achieve cognitive and skill-based learning objectives.
Innovation, by providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents, develop personal and cognitive abilities, and explore new frontiers of knowledge.
Inclusion, where individual differences are accommodated in teaching methods, curricula, and ongoing assessments, and everyone is encouraged to participate in the learning process and school community.
By prioritizing student-based learning, fostering innovation and creativity, and promoting inclusion through customized teaching methods and ongoing assessments, I strive to empower students and facilitate their personal and cognitive growth.
